Copepods are small crustaceans
that live in all kinds of places:
rivers, streams, puddles etc., freshwater and seawater
-they are found in my local river Exe
I was fascinated when I discovered them
as a young boy and memories of the first encounter
have fuelled these attempts at a kind of
sonic evocation
